Companies House Identity Verification

From 18^th November 2025, all Company Director’s & People with significant control, will be legally required to verify their identity using the Gov.UK One login.

As a Director, November is the start of the transition year, where all Director’s must verify their identity before filing their next confirmation statement. On this statement, you will now be required to provide a personal code & verification statement for each Director. For Director’s of multiple Companies, you will need to do this for each one, using the same code.

As a person of significant control (PSC), each PSC will be given a 14 day period in which they must provide their personal code to Companies House.
