Speedway Update ...

As many of you know, we are avid speedway fans here at Darcey & Bate and this weekend saw the return of the annual British Speedway Grand Prix.

Danny King, a rider we sponsor, had previously won the British Final and therefore earned himself a wildcard spot in the meeting of the year.

Danny scored an amazing seven points, which included a race win against the fifteen best riders in the world.

Antonio Lindback went on to win the meeting, and what a fantastic weekend it was.

Joanne even found herself a new job too!

Danny races for Coventry Bees in the Elite League. Just let us know if you’d ever like to come along. It’s a great family night out with a fifteen action packed heats. You will even get to meet Danny, the current British champion.
